For the label of irregular bottles, the label must be affixed in a specific location.
Classification of positioning methods
Optoelectronic positioning labeling:
Most foreign labeling equipment adopts photoelectric positioning, and the specific steps are as follows: when blowing the bottle, make a mark at a specific position on the bottle body, corresponding to the position that needs to be labeled. The labeling process is as follows: the bottles are divided by the bottle dividing screw, then enter the star wheel, and then enter the bottle holder, where the bottles are pressed and rotated by the bottle head. Each workstation has a motor to drive the bottle rack to rotate. When the bottle rotates, the photoelectric sensor detects the positioning mark points on the bottle body, and the electric eye detects the signal and transmits it to the control system to drive the labeling station to complete the positioning and labeling.
Mechanical positioning labeling:
Some domestic equipment adopts this method, and the specific steps are as follows: when blowing the bottle, a mark is made at a specific position at the bottom of the bottle, which corresponds to the position to be labeled. The labeling action is as follows: the bottle is divided by the bottle dividing screw, enters the star wheel after separation, and then enters the bottle holder. The bottle holder is pressed by the bottle pressing head for revolution. The outer cover of each workstation bottle holder is free to rotate, and the inner core of the bottle holder is fixed. The inner core of the bottle holder is equipped with a positioning needle that can be ejected. The outer cover of the bottle holder is driven by a fixed positioning belt for rotation, so the bottle rotates under the driving of the outer cover of the bottle holder. When it passes through the positioning slot and passes through the positioning pin position, the pin extends under the action of the spring force. Lock the positioning slot and mechanically position the bottle to complete the positioning and labeling.

Analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of positioning technology:
Disadvantages of photoelectric positioning labeling: uneven bottle wall thickness leads to unstable photoelectric signals; There is water in the bottle, which can generate bubbles and cause the sensor to malfunction; Each workstation has a motor, a complex control system, high costs, and difficult maintenance.
Mechanical positioning labeling: stable performance, high cost-effectiveness, but can only stick one label and cannot stick more than two labels.
